Arianna Zama (Lugo, Italy, 1998) lives and works in Italy. His work has its roots in painting and figuration. Zama's works are characterized by fragmentation - imaginary figures, wild plants, faces - which evoke a sort of wild garden. Zama's small-scale paintings have a sculptural and object-like presence that sometimes extends onto the back, underlining the material articulation of his work and the way in which it inhabits space.
